We had planned to spend the night and wanted to check it out to see if it would be a nice place for our 2 1/2 year old granddaughter to visit. It is wonderful RV park. They, the son, took the time to show us around. When our schedule permits it will be our go to place.
We stayed at the Cloquet KOA for three nights while visiting friends in Duluth in late June. Quiet and family oriented campground, with plenty of room in the campsites. We weren't able to use the swimming pool since it was unseasonably cool, so maybe next time around we'll take a dip in the pool. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the bathrooms were immaculate. Very nice campground!
Amazing campground. Great and easy to use hook ups. Very clean, garbage collection every morning. Nice building with couches avaliable for anyone to use, with a game room in the room over. Good placement, out of the way enough so it's private but still easy to access the surrounding entertaining areas. If I go back to Duluth I'll definitely use this campground again.
Pros...clean and bug free bathrooms with private showers, shaded hot tub was just like a warm bath and relaxing after a long drive, within a few minutes of state park and Duluth, very helpful and friendly staff, quiet neighbors. Cons...very little shade at site nearest bathroom, dump station on a raised concrete block so don't park too close or you won't be able to get out your hose on some RV models, didn't seem to be a lot of other amenities. Overall...good alternative to state park campground.
Great park to stay at with great ready to assist you. Clean, and well maintained park. We truly enjoyed are stay them recently. We tip our hat off to all of your staff. Oh, you camper thinking about staying here at this campground, they have great advertiser who support their Guest Guide every year for over 5 yrs. Your all at Cloquet/Duluth KOA keep doing what your doing we appreciate the ongoing effort!!!!
